Billing, Refunds & Cancellation

A plain-language summary of how charges, refunds, cancellation, and promotions work.

This page summarizes our billing practices for convenience. It is a summary only - the binding terms are set out in our Terms of Service. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms govern. Payments are processed by Stripe; all prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.

Who can subscribe

Property Eval is available only to licensed REALTORS® and licensed brokerages, who run analyses on their own authorized DDF / MLS feed where their board, brokerage, and data licence permit third-party CMA (Comparable Market Analysis) workflow tools.

How billing works

  • Realtor - a monthly subscription (CAD $129 at publication) that includes 40 CMAs per billing cycle. Additional CMAs are billed at the overage rate (CAD $0.99 each). Overage is metered and invoiced daily. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
  • Brokerage - a quote-based monthly plan, from CAD $299/month (5 seats included) plus CAD $89 per additional agent. Custom and enterprise deployments start from CAD $999/month. CMAs are pooled across the team; overage (CAD $0.75 per CMA over the pooled allotment) is metered and invoiced daily. Final pricing and allotments are set in your quote.
  • Pricing reflects the cost of licensed MLS / DDF data and real-estate board technology-provider access (for example, the Calgary Real Estate Board charges technology providers for feed access), in addition to our own compute costs.
  • You authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method for all fees, applicable taxes, and metered usage, including daily overage charges.

Cancellation

  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation of a Realtor or Brokerage subscription takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • No cancellation fee. If the service isn’t a fit for your business, you can cancel with no cancellation, termination, or early-exit charge.
  • Amounts already accrued as of cancellation - including any outstanding daily overage charges and metered usage - remain due and will be invoiced in the ordinary course.

Refunds

  • A Realtor subscription purchased in error may be refunded only where (a) no CMA has been run under that subscription and (b) you submit a refund request, by support ticket on our Support page, within seven (7) days of the date of the charge.
  • Brokerage fees are governed by the applicable order or agreement.
  • Daily overage charges and metered usage already incurred are non-refundable. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

Promotions, discounts & coupons

From time to time we may offer promotions, discounts, coupon or promo codes, or other limited-time offers. Unless an offer’s own stated terms say otherwise, the following apply to every promotion:

  • Each promotion is subject to its own stated terms (eligibility, the discount amount, what it applies to, and any expiry or usage limit), which control if they differ from this summary.
  • Promotions are offered at our discretion, are time-limited, apply only to eligible plans or purchases, and have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Unless expressly stated, promotions cannot be combined with any other offer, discount, or promo code, and only one may be applied per purchase.
  • A discount applies only to the purchases or billing periods specified in the offer; once the promotion ends or its limit is reached, standard pricing resumes automatically.
  • We may modify, suspend, or withdraw any promotion, and may decline or revoke a discount obtained through error, abuse, or fraud, at any time.
  • Promotions are void where prohibited and may be limited to new customers or specific regions where stated.

Disputes & chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first at team@propertyeval.ca or via our Support page so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback for a legitimate charge, or other payment evasion, may result in suspension or permanent loss of access as described in the Terms.
